Our Story

Immersa nel cuore del Trentino, La Ruscoletta è una locanda a conduzione familiare situata a Telve, in località Musiera. Circondata dalla maestosa catena del Lagorai e da verdi prati, la nostra struttura offre un rifugio ideale per chi desidera immergersi nella natura e godere di un’accoglienza calorosa.

1959

La Ruscoletta was born in 1958 from an idea by Grandma Virginia who, together with Grandpa Natalino Pecoraro, decided to turn a family meadow into a welcoming business. In July 1959, the establishment officially opened its doors, becoming the first business on the Musiera Plateau.

The name, unique and intriguing, comes from ‘Rusca,’ the Pecoraro family nickname, which in the Telve dialect means ‘worker.’ From the very beginning, the management was in the hands of Virginia and her children. Over the years, the baton was first passed to her son Toni and later to Iginio, supported by his wife Maria.

1982

Between 1982 and 1984, the family decided to expand and renovate the establishment to better accommodate an ever-growing and loyal clientele.

For 40 years, Maria has been the heart of the kitchen, while Iginio takes care of maintenance, bar management, and daily operations. Supporting them is a trusted staff and their three children – Manuela, Lidio, and Bruno – along with their grandchildren, who contribute with passion to the growth of the business.

2025

Since December 2023, La Ruscoletta has been in the hands of Giacomo, grandson of Iginio and Maria. With a strong background in the hospitality and tourism industry, he leads the establishment with enthusiasm, blending tradition and innovation.

His modern vision has breathed new life into La Ruscoletta: the hotel’s semi-underground hall has been transformed into an elegant cocktail bar for exclusive events, while a special area has been dedicated to young guests, creating a refined small club atmosphere.

In the coming years, the goal is to develop a tourism offering focused on a complete vacation experience, going beyond simple accommodation to include a range of services and activities designed to meet every guest’s needs.
